Yang Kai’s participation of art begins with the concept of “things”, and in this concept clearly shows the inherent contradictions and contradictions. He acknowledges that the general “thing-oriented” ontology emphasizes that there is no essential difference between “things and spirit” and the “halo” that art distributes. Therefore, his creation is not so much given to the subjective status of things equal to people, rather than in his creation – that is, in the design and manufacture of a “work” to dilute and digest people to “material” put on transcendence on the outfit.

But Yang Kai is not satisfied with the average boredom. He set a very contemporary restriction on his work of “de-enchantment”, and retained the sense of merchandise of the works, and gave them the mystical character of the commodity which Marx called “the magic of commodity”

When describing a table, Marx described it as “flaunting the crowd to the side, not only with its feet on the ground … with the head upside down, it gives birth through its head, it extracts from its wooden head a whole lineage of fantastic or prodigious creatures”Thus in the mood of consumer goods, material is given the soul. For Marx, this is the tricks of capitalism. Yang Kai has this intrigue as intrusion, and challenge the current effective mechanism for the review of the rules, the rules applied to the creation.
