Omar Saadoune
Morocco
Born in 1978 in Ksar Kerbia, Omar develops since his childhood a great passion for Art and the evolution of its forms of expression. Graduated from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan. He has always been an activist in visual arts. His works range from paintings, video art, installation and performance art. He has taken part in several collective exhibitions in Monaco, Tangier, Paris, Tunis and Canada.
Omar Saadoune also produced several short films such as “Silent Dreams” (2008), BOURAK (2012) or G’ART and GHASSAN (2013). His short film “Silent Dreams” take Art circles by storm and it won numerous awards such as the jury prize at the International Amateur Film Festival of Kelibia (FIFAK) in 2009.
