Wu Chong Wai

Macau

Born in Macau, graduated with Visual Arts Diploma from the School of Art of Macao Polytechnic Institute, received his master of Fine Art from South China Normal University in Guangzhou, and focused on modern art and theoretical research of art developments. Mr. Wu has always been an activist in Visual Arts. His works range from painting, sculpture, installation to theater performance. Especially fond of sculpture, he is also the Deputy Chief Supervisor of the Sculpture Society of Macao.

Mr. Wu’s creations have been enrolled in various Macau and overseas exhibitions. On behalf of Macau, He participated in the 53rd Venice Biennale. By raising questions about the status quo of the society and humanity; he questions the values of our community with his profound and inspirational works.
